Help The Gamers Lounge With Operation Supply Drop
Operation Supply Drop is a military gaming charity designed to build care packages filled with video games for soldiers who are deployed to combat zones, as well as those who are recovering in military hospitals. Saturday, May 17th through Sunday, May 18th they are having their 3rd annual 8-bit salute. They ask groups to get sponsors and to play video games for 24 hours to help raise money for this great cause.
Here at The Gamers Lounge, we want to do our part to help, but we are not able to do a 24 hour straight game-a-thon. Instead, we want to make this a two or three weekend event where authors from The Gamers Lounge will stream "Let's Play" sessions on our site's Twitch channel. We would like to raise at least $250 to go to Operation Supply Drop. That's only 10 people donating $25 each! You don't even have to watch the live streams to be a part! If you would like to donate, please click the donate button below and be sure to email us at mail@the-gamers-lounge.com to be put in a drawing for prize packs that include some cool video game swag, codes for games, decals from flamingtoast.com and more! . Just put "Operation Supply Drop" in the subject line.
Please subscribe to our Twitter account and Twitch TV page for "Lets Play" session times and let's help Operation Supply Drop hit their $1 million dollar goal!
