Mojang Officially Sold to Microsoft for $2.5 Billion

The much rumored news that Mojang has been in talks with Microsoft to sell their company for $2.5 billion has been confirmed by a recent post on the developers official site in the form of a question and answer FAQ. Amongst the information the most important bit to take out of this is that they say "There’s no reason for the development, sales, and support of the PC/Mac, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Vita, iOS, and Android versions of Minecraft to stop."
