The biggest aspect of Minecraft that I think is the major reason it became so popular and continues to sell copy after copy is player creativity. Minecraft allows and encourages players to tap into their creative sides in many different ways.

You might have figured out that I am paraphrasing a famous wizard with the above statement. As those of you who have read The Hobbit will know, Gandalf introduces himself to Bilbo in this fashion at the beginning of the novel. I figured there was no better way to introduce myself at The Gamers Lounge (and describe where my username/gamertag comes from) than to borrow from arguably the best wizard to ever grace the pages of a book.
