NaMiiO The New Amiibo Backup Device Coming Soon
In September, we announced the release of MaxLander, the worlds first NFC backup for Skylanders. Now, those same folks have just announced NaMiiO, a USB backup device for your Amiibo. What sets this one apart from N2Elite (formally Amiiqo), is that it is PC compatible, so no phone is needed, and the software has a fully built-in cheat system to instantly max out your Amiibo.
In August, I had the chance to review the Amiiqo NFC device and found it to be a very cool device. Easy to use, you could have all your Amiibo stored on one device, but there was one problem for me. I have no phone that is NFC compatible to update or add Amiibo to the device. That's what I liked about the MaxLander. Easily hook up the USB reader/writer to your PC and freely swap characters with ease. Amiiqo promised that, but over the past few months they have been in legal battles with Nintendo over the device and have delayed their USB reader. This has given the guys over at MaxLander time to get there NaMiiO released.
Here is a list of NaMiiO's features:
・Support to Windows 7/8/10.
・No need for an NFC android phone.
・NFC backup system for NFC game figures.
・Power cheat function for NFC game characters.
・USB connection for PC operation, just Plug 'n Play.
・Windows application software with Easy and Friendly API.
・Special Power token for character backup with unlimited time of backup/restore.
・Included: NaMiiO x 1, Power Token x 2, Token holder x 2, cover paper x 1, USB cable x 1
You can pre-order your set right now over at the MaxLander site for $65.00 with an expected release date of December 10th. Check out the videos below to see the device in action.
