Welcome to The Ink Table, where we are discussing our Disney Lorcana Wilds Unknown unboxing experience along with some exciting events we will soon be attending.
The Hits Keep On Coming
Continuing The Ink Table tradition, the crew once again gathered around “the table” and opened a plethora of Disney Lorcana’s latest release. This time the team opened 7 booster boxes in total. And thanks to our continued tracking of the super rare, legendary, epic, enchanted, and ionic cards we pull we feel confident in saying that “hit rates” have increased.
The 11 enchanteds that the team pulled across release weekend was proof of this.
A Summer of Fun
The Ink Table team is about to kick off a very busy Summer Season.
First, Preston will be heading to the Indianapolis Disney Lorcana Challenge event. This will notably be the final North American DLC of Disney Lorcana’s 2nd competitive season and will be using the Infinity format.
While DLC Indianapolis is taking place, Dylan will be hosting a special event at their local LGS. This Infinity and Beyond event, will center around the release of Toy Story 5 and the infinity focused DLC.
Then at the end of July, the entire team will be heading back to Indianapolis to attend Gen Con for the 2nd year in a row where they are super excited to participate in many featured Disney Lorcana themed activities.
New Books
The third book in the Disney Lorcana Collector’s Guide series will release on November 1, 2026 and will recap sets 9-13. This will cover a chapter in Lorcana in which ‘The Vine’ grew out of control and took over the Inklands before being calmed during the Illumineer’s Quest: The Great Hunny Rescue.
Another book, titled Disney Lorcana - Quest of Wonders: An Illumineer’s Lorebook, will release September 1, 2026. This is a newform of storytelling from the Disney Lorcana narrative team that will see readers immersing themselves deep onto the world of Lorcana, as they follow Shanzay, an Illumineer from our world, coming across an old lorebook filled with the diary entries of unknown Illumineer.
This product will not only further progress the deeper story that the narrative team has crafted, but will also feature the very first Narrative Promo card that you will receive with purchase.
