Howling Village: Echoes invites a point-and-click adaptation of Takashi Shimizu’s film of the same name, bringing players into the fold to experience the curse of the infamous Inunaki Tunnel and Inunaki Village for themselves. However, what should end up being an intimidating trek through a perturbed area of Japan quickly turns into a laughable and amateur attempt to scare, where it falls flat and ultimately bores.
