Though we've seen games in all sorts of genres in puzzles, adventures, platformers, etc. utilize time reversal, forwarding, slowing, bending, and more as a gameplay loop, The Entropy Centre stands out as one that is not only consistent with the mechanic but witty and humorous throughout, making for an entertaining trek through puzzles in a Portal-like manner that wears its inspirations proudly on its sleeve.
Iris Fall Review
Iris Fall had everything it needed to be the next puzzle game for those that appreciate stylized and unique experiences to fall in love with, as the borderline profound puzzle games like this that tell their story through the environments and the puzzles themselves are always a sight to behold, but the continued tediousness and irresponsiveness of the controls, animations, and input lag overall feels like more of a chore to play than what could've been an immersive and truly fun puzzle-solving experience.
7th Sector Review
7th Sector is a stunning puzzle game at its core but introduces many different ways of going about progression that isn't done in a typical level-based fashion, and makes sure that despite its simplicity in approach to gameplay, that the environment around you - especially the background - is one that feels alive and tells a narrative as you play.
