Storm Boy is hard to review as a gaming website. Storm Boy the Game is more of an interactive telling of a classic Australian children’s book that’s been translated to film twice. The game can be relaxing and zen-like if you take your time through it, but it can also be plowed through in about twenty minutes. Parents should review the game beforehand to prepare for the questions their kids might have at the end.

Severed is the newest title from Drinkbox Studios, makers of the super excellent Guacamelee. Within, we control Sasha as she fights to regain her memories and enact revenge on those who attacked her family. Severed is a touch-heavy game, but does not fall into the traditional tropes of the touchscreen genre. Severed cuts away the negativity that encroaches on bland iOS games and gives a satisfying experience all around.

Recently, a throng of games have been re-released. We've seen these rehashed games become just as, if not more, popular than the original. Resident Evil 4 is getting a new ultimate release on Steam. I'm currently working my way through The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD Edition. Not only does it have better visuals, but it has been upgraded, making some of the biggest complaints of the original better and the game in general more enjoyable.
