Hot Game Releases for Summer 2016

For gamers this year, summer will be hot. In the upcoming month, three interesting titles will be released – No Man's Sky, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and World of Warcraft: Legion. Below you will find a brief description of each game with some interesting data. All this for you to plan out your gaming calendar for the next month. Here we go!

 

No Man's Sky

Release date: 12 August 2016

This is an action-adventure survival game of indie genre published by Hello Games. The game will be available on Microsoft Windows and Play Station 4 platforms.

No Man's Sky gameplay revolves around exploration, survival, combat and trading. Players are free to set out to discover the open universe which includes over 18 quintillion (1.8×1019) planets with characteristic lifeforms. It depends on you which planet you explore – the one that is distant or nearby. During the exploration, you learn about the planets and you can submit any valuable information to The Atlas – a database that can be shared with other players. Sometimes you may be forced to survive in hostile environments. Overexploitation of planets, combined with the destruction of their natural habitat, makes you vulnerable to the attacks of Sentinels. Besides, you can upgrade your equipment by trading with other ships. The game offers two gameplay modes: singleplayer and multiplayer and is also fully playable offline.

According to some journalists, the game has dominated the E3 2014 show. No Man's Sky has been awarded the title "Best Original Game", "Best Independent Game" during the event. According to Google trends, there has been a sharp increase in the popularity of the game since March 2016. Fingers crossed that all the worries related to No Man's Sky won't come true!


Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Release date: 23 August 2016

This is a first-person shooter with elements of action role-playing developed by Eidos Montreal, published by Square Enix. It is a sequel to the Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The game is a multiplatform video game released for Widows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

In 2029 the main hero, Adam Jensen, an augmented former private security officer, cooperates with Interpol to capture a group of augmented humans. The protagonist also works for the Juggernaut collective which is a hacker group supporting him in his fight against Illuminati. During the game, the player can resort to combat, stealth, hacking and interaction to tackle complicated scenarios. Similar to No Man's Sky, the game has noted a sharp increase in the Google search, according to Google Trends results.


World of Warcraft: Legion

Release date: 30 August 2016

World of Warcraft: Legion is the sixth expansion of the World of Warcraft series, developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, being the sequel to Warlords of Draenor. It was announced at Gamescom 2015. The game is designed for Microsoft Windows and OS X platforms.

World of Warcraft is set in the fantasy world of Warcraft video game series, dating back to 1994 and the release of the real-time strategy Warcraft: Orcs & Humans. With the new expansion, come new features, such as raising the existing level cap from 100 to 110. Also, artifact weapons for each classes' specializations have been introduced, along with a new area – the Broken Isles and a new hero class – the demon hunter. Additionally, two characters which were supposedly lost, will reappear in Legion.

World of Warcraft has won several annual awards from the media, being considered the best game in the role-playing and MMORPG genres. It's the world's most subscribed online game, holding the Guinness World Record for the most popular MMORPG game among subscribers – over 10 million. The total number of players is 100,000,000 – which is as many as people living in Germany, Belarus, and Sweden combined! Fans believe that this will be the best expansion of all in the WoW series.
